Posted by: c70man - Forum: For Sale / Trade and Online Deals - No Replies

Reverb listing

To a member I will offer $950 Delivered without pickup. $1100 with....(keep in mind that removing pickup will leave a 1/2" hole in the bout.)

Mint condition Eastman E10-OM purchased new in 2020. I added a brand new pickup system.  Schertler AG6-with mic ($450)

I purchased new. Great guitar, just played in home. Eastman HSC included. Certification inc.  Mfg. date 6-5-20

Great player, luthier set up. Just gassing for a jazz box. I own 4 other Eastmans and this one is the least played so I'm letting it go.

Feel free to text about it. I can send a vid if you are interested.

This year model has no back seam. Eastman doesn't make them like this anymore. I prefer it over the inlay versions.

Adirondack, mahogany. Gorgeous sound.

  Eastman E20D bracing
Posted by: Al30906 - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (6)

Out Of curiosity I just checked the bracing just inside the sound hole on my older and my new E20D and discovered that the bracing is shifted a great deal more forward on the new one versus the older one. Does anyone know when they change this? I don’t know if this has been discussed before or if I’m just the last to know. Thanks

  AR372 -chipped parallelogram inlay
Posted by: brianl55 - Forum: Eastman Electric and Archtop Guitars - Replies (1)

My AR372 has the treble side parallelogram inlay at the 14th fret chipped with about a 1/3rd of it missing.

I feel can can do a repair myself but does anyone have a source for the inlay pieces?

  e1d question
Posted by: Horax - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (7)

Just picked up a brand new E1D yetserday.
Luckily I have a dealer who is local who gets these in on a pretty frequent basis.

Anyway, my question is that it appears to have come with ebony bridge pins.
According to the Eastman website, it should come with black plastic bridge pins.

Is the website just not updated, or could this be a return that somebdoy upgraded that was tehn sold 'as new?'

Accessing truss rod - too far in?
Posted by: Slider - Forum: General Chatter - Replies (2)

I'm trying to access the truss rod in an older model AC 122 (2015) but I can't see it in the entry port.  If I insert something into the port I don't contact anything solid until about 3 inches.  Is the end actually that deep in, or is it missing an end cap or something?  Any thoughts on this.
Thanks

  Hi from Minnesota.

Hi folks,
I'm a 2nd time and very pleased Eastman owner. I foolishly sold my 1st E6om a couple of years ago and regretted doing so. This E6om TC was recently purchased used but in excellent condition from a local store. I have to say that this guitar is a real joy to play and the setup is just about perfect.
I believe it has an Alpine spruce top as there is a certificate in the case indicating so. I'm wondering how Alpine compares to Sitka and Adirondack, either way however the guitar sounds fantastic.
Thanks, SG

LA Guitar Sales 20th Anniversary Model
Posted by: Ted @ LA Guitar Sales - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (36)

Hey folks!

Well, it looks like Eastman is back in the Custom Shop biz so Helene and I are working on a limited run, or two to help us celebrate our 20th anniversary. Wow, hard to believe it's been that long. Many of you have you been asking for more of our E15SS and E5SS customs which were based on the Gibson LG series that were built for us from 2014 through 2018, and we are seeing if they will build more of these hugely popular customs for us, but what else would you like to see?

We are planning on some exclusive models from Eastmans (as well as other brands) so let us know what you would like to see.

BTW, here is the link to that long discontinued custom. It was available both with Rosewood and Mahogany back and sides.

Happy holidays!
