I noticed today that one of the two Eastman models I own have been in my possession going on for 11 years now this coming October. I'ts my E20 Om-Sb that I bought new that was advertised (Oct. 2015) with finish flaws for only $959 but other than that it's been a great guitar with excellent tone. Also my other Eastman is the E10 00 (bought in 2019 as new old stock which serial # put it built 2014-15, COA put it at 2017,  advertised as 2019) that comes real close in design, tone and playability to a 12 fret 18 series Martin. The E10 00  is undoubtably my favorite non-Martin guitar I own. 

Have any of you out there been hanging on to your Eastmans for awhile with no plans on getting rid of them? I'm very happy with the four guitars I own now with 3 of them being 12 fret.

Curious about something I did not notice in pics of my just-purchased '22 SB55/V until I got the guitar. Looking down at it in my lap, the body looked thinner at the strap button than at the horn. Measurement confirmed this with the body being 43.5mm (1.71") at its thickest and 41.2mm (1.62") at its thinnest near the strap button. That's about the thickness of 3 medium guitar picks.

Do you think that variation is intentional? I have a couple of other Jr. style slab bodied guitars and Telecasters that do not vary in thickness at all.

Also, Eastman advertises the guitar as being 1 7/8" thick which is 47.6mm, a good 4mm thicker than mine at its thickest. That's a big difference.

Is there that much variation in the EB55/V? Mine is the only one I've ever seen in person. Would like to hear from other owners.

Hello all. Brand new member here. I have just picked up an older E20D to add to my Eastman family (E1D and E2OM). I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am trying to date it. It is definitely nitro. But I am having trouble deciphering the serial number. Is this nine digits? Or does it start "1 slash 0 3"? Any insights? Thanks!

Good morning, please advise the best way to clean my Eastman E8D-SB guitar case. I've read that I should use a damp cloth, warm water with a bit of dish soap. My husband thinks Pledge.

New here & new to acoustic guitars been playing electrics for a long time. I've played mid priced Taylor's, Martins & Alverez acostic/elec cutaways no Eastmans around. But I did play an Eastman Dreadnought an E20D & it was the best playing and sounding guitar in the 2K price range. I have 2 questions for Eastman guys if anyone knows, will the AC322 or 422 play as well as the ones in the 2K range, I checked specs on the dread vs the ac line & neck & nut seem the same ? And volume wise unplugged between the 322 & 422 which is louder or project better ?

If you guys didn't know, the Eastman E1D is slightly smaller than the regular size dreadnoughts. I bought a aftermarket gator plastic hard case from Sweetwater, but it is not a perfect fit, just so slightly bigger. I found a perfect way to fit it in my case. Basically, I just case the guitar with the strap attached. I wrap the strap along the side of the guitar so the strap fills the small gap between the guitar and the foam. If anyone is interested I can show some pictures or make a video.

Are the Cedar top E2D-DLX Sunburst guitars still available or in production? Thanks

I've been gone for a time, as if I'm not mistaken  there was some sort of change done 3-4 years ago to the site?? Anyways ,finally got back on and wanted to share my recent purchase with you all. I found a lightly used E6OM from a Guitar shop and received it today. Honestly ,looks Brand New!  There serial # if I decoded it correctly, states it is a 2019 model manufactured in March/April.
When I googled 2019 specs for this guitar it came up showing a TC top which I'm doubting as it also showed a True Tone finish which I believe didn't start happening untill the Bourgeois/ Eastman partnership (4 years ago)?
 Looking for infor regarding if true or not.I have allready sent a request to Eastman a couple days ago with no response.

Hello. After your knowledge and advice. Playing my AC222 CE OV today when a strange noise occurred and next the bridge simply broke apart. You will see in the photo where and how. It seems I have two options. Either attempt to glue the broken part back in place, although the Internet says it will never be strong enough to withstand the string tension OR try and remove the rest of the bridge, source and buy a new one. So I am in the UK, can anyone advise where to source a bridge with string spacings of 2 5/32 inches. I would need to also purchase the clamps and adhesive. What would you do? Apologies if you read this elsewhere as I have posted in Eastman Facebook group as well.

I've been blessed with an eclectic taste in music - from JSB to Hank Williams and Charlie Mingus (you must listen to Blues & Roots before you pop your clogs). I just like music. And I'm not ashamed to say I enjoy a good powe ballad, and this one is special - The Power of Love co-written and sung by New York's Jennifer Rush, who for some reason never made it big in the US but did pretty much everywhere else in the world.
