What is the best glue to use when plugging a damaged Rosewood bridge for redrilling pin holes - white, super or epoxy resin?

I posted this elsewhere but I thought it was suitable for here since there is at least one Eastman in each picture.
Updated February 21, 2025 -
Below are four years progression of my silly habit of buying and selling acoustic guitars. I have to admit the comings and goings can be addictive and I am pushing my luck on shipping.  The two I wish I wouldn't have sold are the John Walker Wise River and Eastman E40OM. One of these days I will slow down, but it has been fun "renting" some fine instruments.

Almost all new for February 21, 2025 Left to Right:
2024 Eastman E10-LGSS/V-LTD-SB - 20th anniversary LA Guitars model. Torrefied Adirondack/Mahogany. Reminds me of a cross between an LG2 and 00-18. Very balanced and nice projection
2023 Atkin 000 37S - Torrefied Sitka/EIR. 12 fret model with 25.4" scale. I like Atkin's 45 mm nut as it is a touch over 1.75". Just received this yesterday but am quite impressed.
2020 Gibson Custom 1936 Historic J-35 - Torrefied Adirondack/Honduran Mahogany. 1.77" nut and big neck. Mistaken Banner headstock logo. Big, bold and loud.
2015 Eastman E10 00-12F-M - Adirondack/Mahogany, 12 fret L-00 body style with all mahogany construction. Replaced bridge and saddle. Surprisingly loud for a small body. Interesting all mahogany tone. I am not sure this is a keeper but still an interesting guitar. I have it listed in the classifieds. If it sells - great. If it doesn't - equally great.
2019 (?) Farida OT-22W - Sitka/laminate Mahogany. LG2 style. I keep this an an inexpensive foul weather guitar and guinea pig to practice my tech skills - speed neck, slotted bridge, new tuners, new nut, etc

E20om tc vs E10oo neck profile
Posted by: Slowblues - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (3)

Hello everyone
I own an E10oo ss tc 2024, and I am very satisfied with it.
I would like to place an E20om tc alongside it, but I'm afraid that the neck is too thick, because if the profile is the same as that of the E10oo, having a wider nut, it would perhaps be a little excessive for my hands. Has anyone measured the thickness of the E20om's neck compared to the E10oo's?
Thanks a lot

  E10 00 12F-M all mahogany L-00. Decided to sell $sold0 all in
Posted by: TomC - Forum: For Sale / Trade and Online Deals - Replies (11)

2014 Eastman L 00 body size with 12 fret neck and all solid mahogany (Khaya)construction. This was a model Eastman only made for a couple of years. The cut through bridge failed and a new rosewood bridge and drop in saddle was made by St Paul Guitar Repair. SPGR is an authorized Martin and Gibson warranty repair shop. They previously worked as the repair center for The Podium.

Nut is 1.75" and bone. Scale is 24.75". New bone saddle and bone bridge pins. Comes with the original hard shell case and COA. There is some very fine checking on the lower bout and by the heel of the neck. Otherwise the guitar is in VG+ condition. Asking $sold including shipping to CONUS and fees.

Do you prefer the 14" or 15" Thinline, and why?

Is there any noticeable sound difference between the two?

Is one more comfortable to play than the other (both sitting and standing)?

Prefer newer the TC model, but will consider non-TC ones. Please send pics, description of any wear or damage, age of the guitar, your location, and price. Thank you.

  E20D-MR-TC Exc condition $sold
Posted by: TomC - Forum: For Sale / Trade and Online Deals - No Replies

Eastman acoustic dreadnaught with torrefied Adirondack top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Mahogany neck. 1.75" bone nut and 25.4" scale. The guitar is in excellent condition and made from all solid woods. Acoustic only and includes a set of bone and ebony bridge pins. Big beautiful sound. It is a lot of guitar made from premium woods at a ridiculous price. Just the upgrade to Madagascar rosewood would be 2X the cost from other manufacturers. Includes original hard shell case with a functional but wonky handle. Price does not include shipping or payment fees. I can except Venmo, PayPal or cash.

  Eastman E20SS- 2014
Posted by: ThemisSal - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (1)

Fellas,

I am tapped out, and there is no room at the inn. However, I always keep a keen eye out for certain Eastmans.

I used to own a 2014 E20ss that was just wonderful. And yes I moved it on. Back then these had the nitro finishes. They may have showed scratches easily, but they sounded great.

anyways… PSA for you all.  This is priced rich I know. But I don’t see them often. And one could negotiate.  And I have no affiliation:
