Eastman Gibsonesque Jumbo design guitar. Top is torrefied Sitka - very fine grain with excellent silking. Back, side and neck are African Mahogany (Khaya). Fretboard, bridge and pins are ebony. All solid wood construction. Scale is 24.75". Spec on the nut is 1 11/16" but is actually a little roomier at 1.72". Upgraded Gotoh tuners and Holter batwing pickguard added. Strap button on heal. Acoustic only - no pick-up. Includes original hard shell case. Case and guitar are in excellent condition with minimal signs of handling.

$sold includes standard ground shipping in CONUS. This is a lot of guitar for short money. I bought it on a whim and I just prefer 1.75" nuts.

  Looking for E20ss/v
Posted by: mightyu - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (5)

I've been looking for the E20ss/v model for quite some time now and I know they've sold in the past year around the $1,300-14000 range but I'm struggling to find one at this price range. As far as I know there is only one for sale online right now and the shop wants $1,625 which is just a little too much for my budget. I've been communicating with them for a week and a half and they are very firm on this price unfortunately. Does anyone know a good place to keep my eye out for one? Maybe a store that consistently gets in used Eastmans? Thanks!

Posted by: rdf37 - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (3)

The last thing I needed was to get another guitar!!! What I needed was another mandolin or a travel case! But dang it, I could not help myself! My wife picked her up a new phone and then that nex day she says "I am suprised you did not try to convince me on another guitar purchase since I got A new phone! I told her I was not planning on a guitar. She then says "Get one but be smart" That was all it took....So went to my trusted shoppe virtually and BOOM!!!!! purchase was made

Slope shoulder dread. An Eastman E1SS DLX SB! Stoked to say the least
Hoping by early next week to have it in hand pics posted

  New E10oo-TC and Pick Guard
Posted by: JAMKC - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (4)

Got a new E10oo-TC SB 10 days ago. String height/action was WAY high. Got a setup and first 24 hours had some issues on the first three frets of the low E. Now three days later it sounds great!

The pick guard is FUGLY. Would like to replace it or go without. Guidance on getting it removed safely?

Thanks all!

  SB59/V
Posted by: A440 - Forum: Eastman Electric and Archtop Guitars - Replies (8)

Hi All,

This is my first post, as I'm new to Eastman guitars and this forum. I just received my SB59/V and upon trying to tune it up (which it didn't even require!), I noticed that all 6 tuner button corners are very sharp (sharp enough to cut you). I purchased this guitar from Reverb and wondered if it could be a counterfeit? It plays amazingly, so I don't think it's a fake, but wanted feedback from anyone with an SB59/V with the reliced Gotoh tuners. Also, it did come with the Owners Certificate and everything else.

  E40OM vs Martin 000-28 Help
Posted by: tokaifever - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (7)

I am looking for my first VG acoustic after 50 years.  I have narrowed it down to the above two guitars.

Unfortunately I have only been able to play the Martin 000-28 and have no access to a E40OM.  I have pricing that makes them only $1k Cdn apart in price. (deal on 2024 Martin $1k off MSRP and Eastman B-stock for $2,800)

I am leaning towards the Martin of course since I played it and liked tone and neck, my biggest concerns.  It seemed well built.  But everything I have read and seen on the Eastman makes me wonder if I should take a risk on it.  Thoughts?
