I recently picket up a 2006 AR805CE, which is a great acoustic Swing guitar. This is the second one I've owned
I had to sell the old one a few years ago when we went on the road permanently in our travel trailer, but have since tossed out the anchor here in the Pacific Northwest, where we have gigs constantly and people are really great!
My question is: All 805's I've ever seen, including my last one, a 2008, have a kind of Gypsy guitar like cutaway (+ - 90 degrees to the guitar).
However, the one I now have has a cutaway resembling most other Eastman Archtops, like the 810's, etc..
I haven't been able to find another 805 with this cutaway anywhere, and am wondering if anyone else out there has an 805 with this type of a cutaway?
It's definitely labeled AR805CE, and is the proper dimensions, right woods, all hand carved solid Spruce/Maple, etc, so definitely not another model mis-labeled. Only difference is the cutaway.
It definitely has the great voice of an 805, and I'm quite happy with it, but just wondering if anyone else has come across another like mine??
