Hey guys - thought I'd share.. after extensive research I have decided to purchase the Bose S1 Pro for my live PA/Amp for acoustic guitar.  I've loved Bose gear, and this one looks excellent.  I hope to play some coffee shop acoustic gigs at some point in the future here in the Phoenix area.

Curious if there are other Bose users for live amplification?  I also considered the L1 compact.

Does anyone know if a generic es335 pickguards is a straight fit for a t386 or any where I can buy an eastman pickguards.

I've playing for a 3 Years and I actually make a living out live performance turnes out I had it. I started with an alvarez. Then moved to an Oscar by Washburn by this point I didnt have a clue about bodies or tones or laminated or solid or woods. And one day I saw in a little town where I live in Costa Rica the sexy ars of an AC122CE and trade it for a drum set that I inhereted from whom was leaving the country I fell in love with the brand installed some Grover Tuners had a bridge lift made the mistake of installing a pre-amp pickup (cutting the wood of that beautiful guitar) didnt know then guys I am sorry and after Installed the Matrix Infinity Blend. Well long Story Short I fell In love with the brand but I started to learn about laminated woods and solid woods and went for the first upgrade an E1 installing a Matrix Infinity on that and the E10SS buuut.

All of them have used a Fishman Matrix infinity Blend. It has been so far the best acoustic guitar Electronics I have used it gives something like an 80% of the real sound of the guitar when on stage. Tried the LR Baggs anthem and is too plastic.
But I came across a few videos with the K&K Trinity Pro System and I am really intrigued if anyone has any experience with these.

Anyone here play mandolin? I’ve been a guitar player for 40+ years and recently purchased an Eastman 515v.

It’ll be about a week before I receive it. Looking forward to new fun adventures with the mandolin.
It has an antique varnish finish. I’ve heard they seem to sound more open and lively. Here is a pic of the little read headed las, and yes it’s left handed.

By the way, dont buy cheap $5 strap buttons/screws made overseas from Amazon....

Lesson learned.

I asked on AGF and UMGF, but I’m debating whether to go straight to a luthier, which might take a week, or order a high quality vice grip and slowly turn and back it out that way...

Still haven’t decided. This is an Eastman. I did order a better strap button from D’Addario.

I want to be careful here, so we don't end up in a political debate.  But Eastman made the news with the latest round of tariffs, so I thought I'd share, in case anyone missed it.
