There is an annoying buzz on the 7th fret of the 6th string. If I press the 7th fret of the 6th string and play the 4th string open, there is also a huge buzz, which disappears if I stop pressing the 7th fret of the 6th string and play only the 4th string open.

Am I right in thinking that moving the truss rod anticlockwise should solve this issue?

Should I release the tension of the strings previously?

Any help for my E10OOSS would be much appreciated!

For sale is my Eastman T386 semi-hollow guitar made in late 2020. This guitar is completely stock, and comes professionally set up.  This guitar is right in the sweet spot as far as specs are concerned... has their newer redesigned, more preferable, narrow style headstock, and also has a nitrocellulose finish. They stopped using nitro finish in early 2021 and went to their Truetone finish, so this one is one of the last T386's to have a nitro finish. Other specs include a maple body and neck, ebony fingerboard, and stock Kent Armstrong pickups. As far as play-ability is concerned, the frets are in fantastic condition, super smooth and no uneven or high frets. Stock tuners keep pitch really well, doesn't go out of tune when you play bends which indicates a well cut nut. Electronics work great, and no scratchy pots. Cosmetically it is in great condition. The only flaw is that the guitar strap caused some light but noticeable scratching in the soft nitro finish on the back of the body around the strap button. When you put a strap on it, you won't see it. This is a fantastic guitar that plays really well, sounds great, and legitimately rivals it's Gibson counterpart at 1/3rd of the price. Comes with the original hardshell case, and certificate of authenticity.

I have been considering pulling the trigger on a Blueridge BR-240A. It is Blueridge Guitars' version of the E10D. Adi over hog and quite beautiful with very nice sound. I'm wondering if anyone has owned one of these and what your thoughts are concerning this guitar and it's maker. I would appreciate hearing from fellow members with some experience. Thanks.

I am afraid I had to let the AC-308 go. Very nice guitar, but just not me. 
So, I moved that on at a €200 loss, and bought the E2-OM. Ouch.

I bought from a different shop here in Germany. I ordered it yesterday, received it today. This unit is perfect out of the box, there's no funky frets, neck angle bang on, workmanship first-class. It does need a set-up, routine nut and saddle filing, which I'll have done. No biggie. 
The sound is impressive. Ok, I should say: THE SOUND IS IMPRESSIVE! I was playing it and couldn't hear myself speak. Sweet, a bit softer around the edges than spruce, but man, can this thing sing! Whoa! 
Light as a feather. Just as I like a small guitar to be.
Nice tight-grained cedar. Sapele shows a few knots, but is fine.
Cost me €599, next day delivery, 30 day right of withdrawal (though that ship sailed when I took off the pickguard plastic), 3 year guarantee. I've looked, and I've looked, and I've looked. There is just no way to beat the E1/E2 models, IF you get good units. I happen to prefer all of the cost of the guitar to go into the wood and craftmanship, not electronics, and I just find cutaways aesthetically unappealing. These guitars check my boxes. I am also ambivalent about high-gloss acoustics, again, the beauty of these guitars is in their simplicity. 
Beautiful tone and high dynamic range;
Light as s feather;
Nothing I don't want or need.

Just a beautiful instrument. I am not the gushy type, but credit where due....

Hi all!

i stumbled down the wonderful rabbit hole of acoustic flat-tops earlier this year. playing electric for 25+ years, i never understood the potential sonic joy of acoustics. I was shopping for a good smaller budget guitar for my wife, and settled on a Martin 000 junior that my local store had in stock. it was very nice i thought, and i got hooked and realized i needed an acoustic for myself. after heavy research and a stretched budget) i took a chance ordering a e20 00 unplayed. it arrived and it was something else! damn! such tone, volume and dynamics. the wide nut and big neck was a bit of a challenge at first, but the tone was beyond. so i am very pleased. but there’s still the damn FOMO. “perhaps there’s something even sweeter out there.” I went to my music store yesterday and played though their selection of guitars. Some entry level Yamaha, Gibsons, Furch, Martin’s and a wider selection of Taylor’s. Many in the same budget range as the e20 00. None of ‘em did anything for me, none really sang. Sure they played great - with a more comfortable albeit more cramped neck and fretboard. i started to think perhaps my ears were just off from the strains of a work week, or maybe the acoustics of the room was stealing all the tone, or perhaps i’d become biased by only playing a 00 body size. Finally picked up a 3500$ Taylor and… there it was! the volume and dynamics i’ve grown used to with my 00. it was not only a joy to play but also to hear. so i cured my FOMO for now, since i don’t have +3500$ to spare and don’t care much for Taylor aesthetics. i’m sure there are guitars out there that would shame the e20 00 and maybe i’ll get to play one someday. but i am very content today. my only regret now is that i bought the martin 000 jr for the wife and not a similarly priced Eastman!

Hello everyone, I am happy to be here and tell you about my E6OM. Being a brand new player knowing only three open chords and possessing a fair amount of rhythm I was a bit overwhelmed when starting my search for a quality for price guitar for a beginner and my $500 budget.

I preferred new since I didn’t trust myself to know if I was looking at a problem or a great guitar. After much and I mean a lot of research, a number of trips to my local GC and indy stores I found I liked a 1 3/4” nut width and sizes a bit smaller than a dreadnaught. 

Drove a hour to a small well regarded shop to look at the E1OM/E2OM. I was mighty impressed and had made up my mind to bring the E1OM home with me. The owner asked me if I wanted to look at a used E6OM in excellent condition. Gorgeous sound, full, rich and ringing lushness with a beautiful bass timbre. I was awed. 

The store owner told me that this was a TC model and was built with a Alpine Spruce top. In the included and impressive Eastman case was the Certificate of Authenticity, an Eastman branded polishing cloth and a large card about Tonewoods and Alpine Spruce in particular. The guitar showed like brand new, case looked the same, it was my day! I spent more than my $500 budget but I was going past that by $80 with the E1OM so what’s a little more?
