I know I'm not going to be able to change the entire music instrument lexicon but, having had a home in the Adirondacks for many years, the proper abbreviation for locals is "ADK" not "ADI". Try surfing both abbreviations.

Very disappointed my Eastman E20D TC isn't working for me. Bought as my 'last hurrah', absolutely THE best guitar I've ever owned - fit & finish is excellent, sustain incredible, a real cannon - but my 77 year old left hand isn't working the way it used to with the C neck. Regretfully putting it up for sale, and prefer to sell locally, and want the buyer to play it. Greatly appreciate any suggestions as to a safe place to transact the sale. Thank you in advance!

The Acoustic Shoppe has 38 Eastman guitars currently listed on their website.  They show the setup for each one.  I ran some statistics for the action at the 12th fret with some interesting results. 

Low E string at the 12th fret
(Eastman spec = 0.094 (3/32"))
n = 38
mean = 0.099"
st dev = 0.0101
median = 0.099"
mode = 0.094"
minimum = 0.080"
maximum = 0.126"

High e string at the 12th fret
(Eastman spec = 0.063" (2/32")
n = 38
mean = 0.080"

I also plotted some histograms using Google Sheets, but I didn't like the way they presented the data.  Traveling now, but when I get home, I'll run the histograms on Excel and post them.  Oh, I rounded the numbers off to 3 decimal places.

After seeing this, I am never going to just randomly order a guitar online.  Either I see it myself, or I order from the Acoustic Shoppe.  Too much variation.

Just saw a post where someone was saying their E10Ss is from when they were still doing dove tail neck joints. I thought only the AC series were changing necks? Did traditional necks change also?

i´m a new Eastman owner, so i joined the forum.

I purchased an E8OM (not TC) 2 days ago and I really love it.

My low E at the 12th fret is:  2.25 mm or 0.088 in.
My high e at the 12th fret is:  1,88 mm or 0,074 in.
My saddle height at low E is: 5 mm or 0.197 in.
The string height from top of guitar to bottom between the G and D strings right by the bridge, is 13,3 mm or .523 in.
The Neck relief is almost flat.
With a straight edge laying across the frets and nosed up against the saddle, the distance from the underside of the straight edge to the top of the bridge is 1.33 mm or 0.052 in.

Also, almost all frets got sharp ends (both sides)

The action is a little bit to low for my taste...
My concern is the saddle hight that could damage the bridge...
Is this a overset Neck?

BTW the guitar sounds and plays great.

After much hesitation (nearly four years!), I've decided to sell my 2018 E10SS/v.  This is an amazing guitar, but I prefer a wider nut width.  I'm the original owner, and it is from a brief period, where they moved to the Ebony board, but still had the Batwing pickguard (which I absolutely prefer to the current Firestripe guard).

So, the pick gaurd on my new 308 had a small defect...not sure how I didn't notice it right off but I didn't....I emailed Eastman and there sending me a new pick guard...so in the mean time I decided to pull the original off .... With the guitar so new I got lucky and no tan line....once the new gaurd arrives I'll keep it in the case but doubt I'll put it on...? To Eastman I sent them a photo of the defect and the promptly responded saying they will send me another....but I'll be leaving it off I like the look of a naked guitar.....it'll stay in the case in the event I resell and the next owner wants it.....but I doubt I resell this one...?
